We are Winners — Thank You All!

Richmont is participating in Atlanta Magazine’s GIVE Challenge. The 5th annual GIVE Atlanta Challenge began October 19 at noon and lasted  through November 9 at noon.  The GIVE Challenge aims to provide participating local charitable organizations with the opportunity to raise funds online and compete for an abundance of prizes.  This was Richmont’s 3rd consecutive year participating, and we have placed top tier each year, including this year.   Thank you to our donors!

Richmont finished 3rd overall, earning a grand prize. We also placed 3rd in both the week two and week three bonus challenges. Our total prize winnings are $2,000 from Atlanta Magazine and five half-page, color ads during 2022. Hooray!  Of course, that’s in addition to the $11,206 given by 57 donors* in support of Richmont’s mission.

Congratulations to Dr. Michael Jones’s advisees for achieving the highest rate of participation among the 14 advisor teams. Those students will be emailed information to claim their $5 credit at the Richmont Sundries Shoppe.

If you were behind on your emails and missed out on participating in the Challenge, or if the three weeks of competition just wasn’t a good time for you to give, have no fear! Richmont’s Annual Fund runs year round, from July 1 to June 30. We’d love to count you as a donor this year, whenever you are able to give a gift of $5 or more. (Or set up a recurring gift to donate a little at a time.)  Give online at Support Richmont – Richmont Graduate University

Donor support is crucial to Richmont’s fulfilling our mission, preparing the next generation of professional counselors and ministers and providing needed counseling services in our community. Thank you for considering Richmont in your giving plans.

* These numbers differ from what you’ll see on the final leaderboard because several gifts came in outside of the official competition hours and are not tallied in the competition totals.
